Rookie Rugby is a NON-CONTACT sport intended for boys and girls grades K - 4. This program will teach your children the game of rugby in a positive environment, ending each session with a competition. Fall 2018 sessions are on Sundays from 2-3 PM, October 7, 14, 21 and 28. Salt Creek Park, Elmhurst.
1) Begin by registering with Elmhurst Rugby using the Eventbrite purchase form. Each "ticket" is a single registration. You may register more than one participant across different categories. Don't wait to register with Elmhurst Rugby as it may delay when your athlete receives their training top.
2) Register with Rugby Illinois through their website. Elmhurst Rugby is a member of Rugby Illinois (RIL) and USA Rugby. Registration through RIL provides you membership with USA Rugby, which is a national requirement and lasts for one year starting August 1. Note: If RIL website is experiencing difficulties, return to this step of registration later, but don't delay registration with Elmhurst Rugby.
Access: When registering, select "Unified Rugby" as your category and then Elmhurst Rugby as your team.
Rookie: When registering, select "Rookie Rugby" as your category and then Elmhurst Rugby as your team.

Dues will include match shorts and socks for first year players. All registered players will receive a training top. We intend to purchase other items for the club in 2018 as the budget permits. Match jerseys are provided, but owned by the club and not taken home by the athletes. Our club is an approved federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization administered and coached entirely by volunteers.
