Elmhurst Rugby had a spectacular first season. With only a month of practice before their first match. The boys prepared hard in the limited offseason and improved dramatically over the course of the year, culminating in a victory over the All Reds who would take 2nd in State Championships a few weeks later. Elmhurst played the hardest competition of any other club, facing the Blaze twice who would later win the State Championship over the All Reds by a victory of over 50 points, as well as top State finishers Marine Academy (4th) and Forest City (6th).
